Artist's Description

This lookout point of the Oregon Coast in Depoe Bay took my breath away. Concealed from the highway, I ran into very few people and the scenic view of the Pacific Ocean was astounding. A storm had just blown in and the waves were violently crashing against the rocky cliff side. It made me feel small to be so close to something as powerful as the ocean waters below. Looking back at this black and white photograph, I am reminded of how terrifyingly beautiful mother nature can be.

About Shannon Williams

Shannon Williams

Hey there! Welcome to my Gallery. I'm originally from Portland, Oregon, and am currently traveling North America capturing landscapes and cityscapes across the country. I picked up a camera before moving to Alaska where I honed my photography skills using the stunning mountains and rivers of the vast, wild tundra as my classroom.
