Artist's Description

The Sandhill Cranes in Orlando, Florida are some of the largest birds I've ever seen. Some are almost as tall as a full grown adult! Not to mention, they make the oddest of sounds. As we were exploring the swampy marshes in Florida I knew I had to capture one and this single crane decided to wade in the water long enough for me to do so.

About Shannon Williams

Shannon Williams

Hey there! Welcome to my Gallery. I'm originally from Portland, Oregon, and am currently traveling North America capturing landscapes and cityscapes across the country. I picked up a camera before moving to Alaska where I honed my photography skills using the stunning mountains and rivers of the vast, wild tundra as my classroom.
