Artist's Description

The fun colorful nature of the Croton plant is like something I've never seen before. I've visited Florida many times in the past but never noticed it's odd beauty until I broke out my macro lens during the magical blue hour. It's long, variegated leaves with all sorts of vibrant colors is captivating. Macro photography feels like a whole other world. One that sucks me in and makes me notice all the tiny details of nature.

About Shannon Williams

Shannon Williams

Hey there! Welcome to my Gallery. I'm originally from Portland, Oregon, and am currently traveling North America capturing landscapes and cityscapes across the country. I picked up a camera before moving to Alaska where I honed my photography skills using the stunning mountains and rivers of the vast, wild tundra as my classroom.
